From early childhood, I was immersed in the world of horses, with my father as a horse trainer and our family name continuing through Kim Loy Racing, now based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Operating from Ascot Lodge, adjacent to the pristine Gold Coast Turf Club, our stable offers a peaceful environment, backed by a dedicated team of trusted professionals.

With over 27 years of experience, my journey began at the age of 5 in equestrian and show jumping, representing Australia internationally before transitioning to race training, which has always been my passion. I’ve been involved in the racing industry since the age of 16, following in my father's footsteps, who was a respected trainer for over three decades. He instilled in me ethical and advanced training techniques, emphasizing a strong foundation for producing top-class racehorses.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside renowned trainers such as Frank Cleary, Brian Guy, and serving as Stable Foreman for Gillian Heinrich and Trevor Bailey. This experience has shaped my approach to thoroughbred training, breaking-in, pre-training, and selecting horses for sales or leasing.
