Cup Week has seen our horses make exciting progress, setting the stage for more strong performances ahead. Here’s how the week went for Kim Loy Racing:
Pete the Snoop – Making his debut at the Gold Coast on Saturday, Pete the Snoop put in an impressive performance over 1000m, finishing a close 2nd by only 0.5 lengths. With Dylan Turner in the saddle, Pete led the race with confidence, showing early speed and a strong run to the line. Dylan is optimistic about Pete's potential and believes improvement is on the horizon, with a win just around the corner.
One N Only – Taking on Eagle Farm Tuesday, One N Only ran a solid 3rd place over 1000m (Class 4) with Jag Guthmann-Chester, settling midfield and finishing 1.5 lengths behind the winner. Once again showing her competitive spirit. Indications are she’ll be stepping up in distance in her next race, and the team is eager to see how she performs with the added ground.
Magadan (TRIAL) - On Monday at the Gold Coast, Magadan showcased his readiness in a trial over 1000m with Boris Thornton aboard. Boris was pleased with his performance, noting Magadan’s drive through to the line. The team is excited to see him make his race debut, looking forward to what he can bring to raceday.
